Casparino Promoted at Connecticut Innovations
ROCKY HILL, CONN., September 10, 2001 Connecticut Innovations (CI), the stateís leading investor in high-technology, has promoted Joseph J. Casparino to the position of director, information technology. Casparino joined the company in June 1998.
As director, information technology, Casparino is responsible for Connecticut Innovationsí computer and technology infrastructure, as well as its network administration.
Casparino worked as a consultant to Connecticut Innovations from 1996 to 1998, before becoming an employee. He brought to CI over 20 years of experience in computer systems, which includes serving as senior technician for the Hartford Courant, network administrator for the Business Loan Center and Investments of Shawmut Bank and senior systems engineer for AmeriData, Inc.
Casparino is a graduate of the University of Hartford, where he received his associateís degree from Samuel Ward College, and he served four years in the U.S. Air Force. He resides in Rocky Hill, Conn. |
