Your city or town can get involved in the push for clean energy by qualifying as a Connecticut Clean Energy Community and at the same time earn free clean energy systems for town buildings. Here is the three-step process:

Earn A Solar Energy System

Under the Connecticut Clean Energy Communities Program, your city or town may qualify for one or more free clean energy systems - such as solar PV, solar thermal or wind - from the CCEF. There is no limit to the number of kilowatts of solar systems your town can earn as long as funding for this program is available. The first installation was commissioned at Middletown High School.
