Innovatient Solutions was formed in January 2010 by three seasoned executives to develop, design and market the next critical phase in health care delivery. All too often the patient experience lags the sophisticated medical approach which solely addresses the patient’s diagnosis. Historically hospitals have been focused on managing the needs of physicians with patient engagement as a mere by-product. The company has developed the Patient Centered Information System, (PCIS) to provide the quality care management tools for the care team to dramatically improve the patient experience. Designed to meet the demanding requirements of patients, visitors, healthcare teams, and executives, PCIS is a leading edge platform focused on being a reliable source of education and communication for patients thereby improving the HCAHPS quality measures. It connects patients to their care team, their friends and families and to other systems in a facility all from the comfort of their own bed and through a medium they are already comfortable with, their TV. We have created our PCIS to assist the care team in delivering, managing and reporting on the quality of the patient experience through an innovative approach to patient education, communications and entertainment all in a real time interactive environment.
