CMD operates proprietary-aided drug design (CADD) software that was internally developed. Unlike most other CADD approaches that enable small molecule and protein therapeutics discovery, the CMD Bioscience CADD platform enables peptide-based drug discovery. The core business model is to employ proprietary methods to design peptides for key protein targets and then seek peptide product licensing opportunities with companies in the biopharmaceutical industries. CMD intends to seek technology-partnering arrangements with biopharmaceutical companies to apply their proprietary drug discovery platform to targets of interest in an effort to generate lead compounds to strengthen their existing pipelines.
