Partner with a Professor

Very often in the course of assembling a team to work on an SBIR/STTR proposal, a small business needs expertise, consulting, PI support, lab equipment, etc. In the Partner with a Professor Program, university faculty initiate the process by finding SBIR/STTR topics of interest that they can support. Fundamentally, it works the same way as the Partner with a Prime Program. We blast out topics and support information to CT small companies. The CT SBIR Office matches the small business to the universities, enabling the transfer of technology via the SBIR project.
